Three Trails Camp & Retreat Center is a fresh air camp established in 1924 by The Salvation Army. Three Trails shares in the long history of Salvation Army camping, providing a safe environment for guests to escape from everyday activities to have fun, learn new skills, and deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Located only a few miles outside of downtown Kansas City, Three Trails is a 40-acre campus that is an oasis in the city. Three Trails combines spacious accommodations with the beauty and serenity of nature to offer an affordable experience for our guests facilitating a church retreat, conference spiritual retreat or team building adventure. We offer our guests clean facilities that are well maintained and excellent service. We are committed to serving the needs of our guests and would consider it a privilege should you decide to use our facilities.
**Our camp is unable to host outside rentals each year in the summer in order for us to run our Summer Youth Camps. For 2023 those dates are: May 22nd, 2023 – July 23rd, 2023.*

Pines Lodges Rate: $250/unit/night Capacity: 8
(Three Units Available) – Each unit has two bedrooms. One bedroom has a queen bed and the other has two twin beds. There are four twin beds in the loft. Each unit has a kitchenette with stove top, microwave and dorm-size refrigerator, dining area, living room and bathroom. Linens are provided.
Elms Lodge Rate: $275/night Capacity: 6
Lodge is a three bedroom, two bathroom with living room, dining room and kitchen. Two bedrooms have queen beds and the third bedroom has two twin beds. Kitchen includes an oven/stove, microwave and full refrigerator. Linens are provided.
Elms Studio Rate: $125/night Capacity: 4
Studio apartment includes a queen size bed and twin bunk bed with one full bathroom. There is a kitchen with an oven/stove, microwave, full-size refrigerator and dining room table. Linens are provided.
Chase Lodge Rate: $300/night Capacity: 13
Chase Lodge is a six-bedroom cabin with two community bathrooms and full kitchen. Bedroom #1 has one twin bed and one twin bunkbed with a small half-bath. Bedrooms 2-6 each have two twin beds. One bathroom has two toilets, one shower and one bathtub. The other has one toilet and one shower. Linens are provided. Nicely sized living room which could be used as a meeting space.
Booth Lodge (rents with the Oak Room) Rate: $23/person/night Capacity: 42
Dorm style lodge. Each room sleeps up to three people with community bathrooms down the hall. There is a comfortable lounge and sitting area. Linens are not provided.
Must rent at minimum 28 capacity and in conjunction with the Oak Room
Railton Lodge Rate: $23/person/night Capacity: 104
Dorm style lodge. Four suites in the building. Each suite has two large rooms that sleep up to twenty four people. Room have adjoining bathroom. A separate counselor room, that sleeps two, with private bathroom is located in between the two rooms. Linens are not provided.
Must rent at minimum half-capacity (13) per suite reserved.
Brengle Lodge Rate: $23/person/night Capacity: 104
Dorm style lodge. Four suites in the building. Each suite has two large rooms that sleep up to twenty four people. Room have adjoining bathroom. A separate counselor room, that sleeps two, with private bathroom is located in between the two rooms. Linens are not provided.
Must rent at minimum half-capacity (13) per suite reserved.

Large meeting space with carpet and attached full kitchen. Close parking. Food and drink is allowed, but there is a $100 stain removal fee if a new stain is made. Three bathrooms located in lobby.
Standard Setup is 150 chairs and 15 rectangle tables. Additional chairs or tables available for a small fee.

Small meeting space with tile floors. Kitchen available on first reserved basis for groups renting rooms in the Dining Hall (Kitchen rental is $75/day). Bathrooms located down the hallway.

Kansas Room $200/day Capacity: 60 people
Medium meeting space with tile floors. Kitchen available on first reserved basis for groups renting rooms in the Dining Hall (Kitchen fee is $75/day). Two bathrooms in the room, additional bathrooms down the hallway.
Standard Setup is 6 round tables and 48 chairs. Additional chairs or tables available for a small fee.
Oak Room (rents with Booth Lodge) $300/day Capacity: 100 people
Large meeting space with carpet. Seating area and attached full size kitchen included in room. Three bathrooms.
The Oak Room rents in conjunction with Booth Lodge.
Standard Setup is 6 round tables and 48 chairs. Can have up to 10 round tables and 100 chairs with no additional fee. Additional chairs or tables above the 10/100 available for a small fee.
Cypress Room $165/day Capacity: 40 people

Small meeting space with carpet. Two bathrooms.
Standard Setup is 4 round tables and 32 chairs. Additional chairs or tables available for a small fee.
Evangel $175/day Capacity: 40 people
Small meeting space with carpet. Open floor plan with living, dining and kitchen area. One bathroom.
Standard Setup is as-is. Additional chairs or tables available for a small fee.
Missouri Room/Game Room $225/day or $50/hour Capacity: 60 people
Pool tables, ping pong , air hockey, foosball and carpet ball. Located next to the gym. Two bathrooms.
Indoor Gym $300/day or $75/hour Capacity: 250 people
Without overnight lodging – $600 – rental is 12 hours
Full sized basketball , volleyball court with sports floor. Can be used for a wide range of activities and sports. Two bathrooms. Recreation equipment not included.
Three Trails Camp is located on more than 40 acres. You will be amazed at how you feel like you are in a rural setting but have access to the urban setting. While you are here you will have access to many of our outdoor spaces.

While we do not have on site food service available, we do work closely with our local Hy-Vee and recommend them to all of our guests. Guests are not required to use this caterer, you are welcome to bring in and prepare your own food, or obtain catering through any other caterer of your choosing.
